I’ve waded into writing at what I consider “very late in the game”, even though I’ve been doing it in various guises for the last five years and even before then. I never questioned my “audacity” when I had a poem published at 12, why am I questioning myself now? I also love that like me, you've had a non-linear career path. Sometimes when I fall into the trap of comparison, I get pretty hung up that I haven’t had a more straightforward journey. But when I really think about it, it’s made me into the woman and peer I am today.
